Referral & Welcome Grant Programme — Terms & Conditions
The full terms for our referral bonus and the nurse Welcome Grant. Read together with our Privacy Policy (Datenschutzerklärung) and General Terms and Conditions (AGB).
Effective 16 July 2026. The Referral & Welcome Grant Programme (the "Programme") is a promotional programme offered by Fliyon at its discretion. By submitting a referral, you (the "Referrer" or "Participant") agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Programme Operator; Nature of the Programme
The Programme is operated by: Joseph, Siby, trading as Fliyon — Hausmann Straße 17, Brandenburg an der Havel, 14776, Germany. Email: hello@fliyon.com ("Fliyon", "we", "us").
The Programme is a promotional programme offered by Fliyon at its discretion. Participation does not create any contractual entitlement to the continuation of the Programme or to future rewards beyond these Terms and applicable mandatory law. These Terms govern participation in the Programme. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy (Datenschutzerklärung) and General Terms and Conditions (AGB).
2. Eligibility to Refer
To participate as a Referrer, you must: be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity; have the legal right to share the referred nurse's contact details (see Section 3); and not be prohibited from participating under any applicable laws. Employees, contractors, agents, and immediate family members of Fliyon may not participate unless expressly authorised in writing by Fliyon.
The Programme is intended for referrals of nurses eligible to participate in the Fliyon programme. Fliyon may restrict participation in certain countries where required by law. Fliyon may refuse any referral or participation if we reasonably believe it would violate these Terms, applicable law, or the intended purpose of the Programme.
3. Consent to Share Contact Details
You may only refer a nurse if you have their clear permission to share their personal data and contact details with Fliyon. By submitting a referral, you confirm that the referred nurse: knows that you are sharing their contact details with Fliyon; has expressly agreed to be contacted by Fliyon regarding employment opportunities in Germany; and has consented to the processing of their personal data for this purpose.
First contact and verification. When Fliyon first contacts a referred nurse, we will inform them who shared their details with us and for what purpose, in accordance with Art. 14 GDPR, and we will verify that they agree to be contacted. If the referred nurse objects to being contacted, or does not respond within 30 days of our first contact, we will delete or securely anonymise their personal data, unless we are legally required to retain it. We may retain minimal contact details solely to ensure the person is not contacted by Fliyon again. We do not knowingly contact individuals who have not agreed to be contacted.
4. Submitting Referrals; Confirmation
Referrals should preferably be submitted through an official Fliyon referral link, referral code, or designated referral form. Referrals made via WhatsApp or email may also be accepted.
Written confirmation. Before confirming a referral, Fliyon checks whether the referred person qualifies as a New Nurse (Section 5). Fliyon confirms every accepted referral in writing (by email or WhatsApp) with a reference number. A referral counts as submitted only once Fliyon has issued this confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation within 7 days of submitting a referral, please contact us at hello@fliyon.com. Only referrals confirmed by Fliyon are eligible for attribution under the Programme. The confirmation records the date and time of submission and is decisive for attribution under Section 5.
5. Valid Referral (Attribution); New Nurse; Validity Period
New Nurse. A "New Nurse" means a person who has never previously: submitted an application to Fliyon; registered an account with Fliyon; contacted Fliyon regarding employment; attended a Fliyon consultation; been the subject of an earlier confirmed referral by another person; or otherwise been recorded in Fliyon's recruitment database.
Attribution. A referral is validly attributed to you if the referred nurse: is eligible to participate in the Fliyon programme; qualifies as a New Nurse at the time of your referral; and consents to being contacted by Fliyon (Section 3). If multiple people refer the same nurse, only the first confirmed referral (Section 4) qualifies.
Validity period. A confirmed referral remains valid for twenty-four (24) months from the date of confirmation. If the referred nurse has not commenced employment in Germany through Fliyon within this period, the referral expires, unless Fliyon agrees otherwise in writing.
Attribution establishes who may earn the referral bonus; it does not itself trigger any payment. The bonus becomes payable only under the conditions in Section 7. Submitting a referral does not guarantee acceptance, employment, visa approval, or any payment. Fliyon is not responsible for decisions made by employers, immigration authorities, licensing bodies, or any other third party involved in the recruitment or relocation process.
6. Welcome Grant for Nurses
Fliyon offers eligible referred nurses a Welcome Grant of €1,000 to support their relocation and settlement in Germany. Any entitlement to the Welcome Grant arises solely under the agreement between the nurse and Fliyon; this Section describes the grant for the Referrer's information only. The grant is paid in three fixed instalments:
- €250 — Paid as soon as reasonably practicable after Fliyon verifies that the nurse has arrived in Germany and commenced employment, normally within seven (7) days of verification.
- €250 — Paid after the nurse has completed one (1) month of employment.
- €500 — Paid after the nurse has completed six (6) months of employment and successfully passed the probation period (Probezeit).
For the purposes of these Terms, "one (1) month of employment" means thirty (30) consecutive days of continuous employment counted from the nurse's first working day. If the nurse's employment ends before a milestone is reached, the instalments for that milestone and any later milestones are not paid. Instalments already earned remain unaffected. Payments are made via bank transfer, Revolut, or Wise (see Section 9).
7. Referral Bonus for Referrers
The Referrer whose referral was validly attributed under Section 5 receives a €150 referral bonus once the referred nurse has: signed an employment contract with an employer arranged through Fliyon; arrived in Germany; started work; and completed one (1) month of employment (as defined in Section 6).
The bonus is payable once per referred nurse, only to the Referrer with the first confirmed referral, and only after all conditions above have been met and verified by Fliyon. The bonus becomes payable only once Fliyon has received confirmation, in accordance with Section 9, that all payment conditions have been satisfied.
Referral bonuses and other Programme benefits are personal to the Participant. They are not transferable, assignable, exchangeable, or refundable, and may not be sold or auctioned, except as expressly provided in these Terms.
8. Multiple Referrals, Stacking and Caps
- You may refer more than one nurse. Each validly attributed referral that meets the conditions in Section 7 earns one referral bonus.
- The referral bonus cannot be combined with other Fliyon promotions, discounts, or reward programmes for the same placement, unless we expressly state otherwise.
- No cap on the number of bonuses currently applies. Fliyon may introduce a cap in the future; any cap will apply only to referrals submitted after it is announced and will not affect referrals already confirmed.
9. Payment Terms; Verification
- Payments are made by bank transfer or another payment method designated by Fliyon (including Revolut or Wise).
- Payments are normally processed within 30 days after verification of the relevant milestone, except the first Welcome Grant instalment, for which the timing in Section 6 applies.
- Verification. Milestones are verified on the basis of confirmation from the employer, the nurse, or other suitable evidence. Fliyon may request additional information from the Participant or the nurse where reasonably necessary to verify eligibility or a milestone. If verification is not possible despite Fliyon's reasonable efforts, the payment obligation does not arise until verification succeeds.
- Recipients must provide accurate payment information and any documents reasonably required for verification. Payment periods do not begin until this information has been provided. Fliyon is not responsible for payments that cannot be completed due to inaccurate payment information supplied by the recipient.
- Payment providers may require identity verification before processing payments.
- Cross-border payments. Where transfer to the recipient's country of residence is legally or practically impossible (for example due to sanctions, banking restrictions, or payment-provider rules), Fliyon may use an alternative lawful payment method; the payment period is suspended until a lawful transfer is possible.
- Any bank fees, intermediary charges, or currency conversion costs are borne by the recipient.
- Taxes. Rewards may constitute taxable income in the recipient's country of residence. The recipient is solely responsible for declaring and paying any taxes or duties on rewards received. Fliyon does not provide tax advice and accepts no liability for the recipient's tax obligations.
10. Fair Use, Prohibited Conduct, Investigations and Repayment
Prohibited conduct. Fliyon may reject referrals, withhold payments, or exclude Participants from the Programme if we have reasonable grounds to believe that a referral or a Participant's conduct is fraudulent, misleading, abusive, or inconsistent with the purpose of the Programme. This includes, but is not limited to: self-referrals; fake, misleading, incomplete, or duplicated candidate profiles; referrals submitted without the nurse's knowledge or consent; referring candidates who do not qualify as New Nurses; attempts to manipulate or abuse the Programme; providing false information; creating multiple accounts or identities to claim additional rewards; publishing referral links on coupon, deal, or cashback websites; or selling, auctioning, or transferring referral links, codes, or Programme benefits.
Marketing conduct. When promoting their referral link or the Programme, Participants must comply with applicable law and must not: send unsolicited commercial communications (spam); impersonate Fliyon or create websites or social media accounts that pretend to represent Fliyon; make misleading statements about Fliyon, Germany, or the recruitment process; promise employment, visas, or any specific outcome; or modify official Fliyon marketing materials.
Investigations. Fliyon may investigate suspected abuse and may suspend affected payments for the duration of the investigation. Investigations will be concluded without undue delay, and the Participant will be informed of the outcome.
Repayment. Where a reward has already been paid and it is subsequently established that it was obtained through fraud or a breach of these Terms, the recipient must repay it. Fliyon may set off repayment claims against other amounts owed to the Participant under the Programme.
Fliyon decides on eligibility, attribution, and payments at its reasonable discretion (§ 315 BGB), taking the circumstances of the individual case into account. The Participant's statutory right to have such decisions reviewed by a court remains unaffected.
11. No Employment or Agency Relationship
Submitting referrals does not create any employment, agency, partnership, or contractor relationship between the Referrer and Fliyon. Referrers act independently and are not representatives of Fliyon. Referrers are not authorised to make promises or representations on Fliyon's behalf.
12. Liability; Force Majeure
Fliyon is liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and under mandatory statutory liability provisions (including the Produkthaftungsgesetz). In cases of slight negligence, Fliyon is liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment the Participant may regularly rely), and in such cases only for the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Any further liability of Fliyon is excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
Force majeure. Fliyon is not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including governmental action, changes in immigration law, strikes, natural disasters, war, technical failures, or payment-provider disruptions. Performance periods are extended by the duration of such events.
13. Changes to the Programme; Termination
Fliyon may amend these Terms, change reward amounts, suspend, or terminate the Programme at any time with effect for the future.
- Changes apply only to referrals submitted on or after the date the change takes effect.
- Referrals validly confirmed before a change or before termination remain governed by the Terms that applied at the time of confirmation.
- Rewards for which all conditions were met before the termination date will be paid out. Referrals still in progress at the termination date will continue to be honoured under the Terms applicable at confirmation, unless the exclusion of the Participant is justified under Section 10 (fraud or abuse).
Fliyon will make reasonable efforts to notify active Participants of material changes to the Programme.
14. Claims and Complaints
Claims to a referral bonus or a Welcome Grant instalment, and objections to a decision by Fliyon under these Terms, must be asserted in writing (email is sufficient) within six (6) months of the relevant milestone or decision. After this period, Fliyon may treat the matter as closed. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded by these Terms remain unaffected.
15. Governing Law; Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you participate as a consumer and are habitually resident in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence. If the Participant is a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, or if the Participant has no general place of jurisdiction in Germany or relocates their habitual residence outside Germany after these Terms take effect, the courts at Fliyon's registered office have exclusive jurisdiction. In all other cases, the statutory rules on jurisdiction apply.
16. Data Protection
Personal data in connection with this Programme is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (Datenschutzerklärung) and applicable data protection law, including the GDPR. Section 3 describes how we inform and verify referred nurses at first contact and when we delete their data.
17. Final Provisions
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the General Terms and Conditions (AGB), constitute the entire agreement governing the Referral & Welcome Grant Programme. Individually negotiated agreements take precedence.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
Language. These Terms are available in English and German. In the event of any inconsistency between the two versions, the German version shall prevail.
